Gulmarg is about 50 km and 1.5 to 2 hours from Srinagar, Pahalgam about 90 km and 2 to 2.5 hours, and Sonamarg about 80 km and 2 to 2.5 hours. All three work as day trips, though Pahalgam is far more comfortable as an overnight stay. Doodhpathri is 42 km, Yousmarg 47 km, and Gurez 125 km over Razdan Pass at about 5 to 6 hours.
